Kurt C. Hedlund - Senior Pastor

He was raised in north central Wisconsin and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Following college he went right to graduate school at Dallas Seminary from which he received a Th.M. in 1978. He has served churches in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Connecticut. He and his wife Susan have two sons, ages 19 and 24. Kurt likes to run and hike to stay in shape.

Garrett Holmes - Pastor of Youth and Christian Education

Pastor G, as the kids call him, moved to Bethany in June 2007. He is originally from south Mississippi and is a 1998 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He also graduated in May 2007 with a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. He has served in ministry in Mississippi, Maryland, California, Nevada, Mexico and Canada. He is married to Jessica and they have four kids, Logan, William, Sara and Andrew. Jessica is a teacher a Lake Mead Christian Academy in Henderson, Nevada. Pastor G loves to play sports, watch sports, travel, drink coffee, hang out at coffee shops, go on dates with his wife and hang out.

Joann Kenneston - Church Administrator

Even though she has spent over 25 years in Nevada, Joann still considers herself an Illinois farm girl. Prior to joining Bethany in 2000, her background included spending several years as a Promotions Manager in the newspaper industry and several years as a Front Desk Manager at a Las Vegas hotel. Joann and her husband, Robert, also pastor a small church in the community of Rachel, Nevada. Joann’s other loves are her grandchildren and her cats.
